Calcutta House

Tuesday, October 7, 2014

With the help of our contacts and friends in Calcutta, Maher has secured a deposit on a large piece of land for the purpose of building one or more homes.
We are very fortunate to find such a large piece of land which is in the heart of the city and it is very well connected. This will be the second home that The Howley Foundation has assisted Maher in building. The first was in village of Chano in Jharkhand.

The name of this home will be "Mathru Chaya", meaning "Under the Wings of Protective Mother".
This land fulfills a dream which I have had for a very long time, which is to build a home for orphaned children in Calcutta.
It fills my heart with so much joy and gratitude to see the start of this project.

It is very important to raise the necessary funds for this home. Please direct all questions to Brenda Howley for donations or go to the Donate button click "Donate".

We need to raise $80,000.00 by December 30, 2014.

Every donation, no matter the size is important.
